He is the author of four books on financial topics, including the industry standard Index Annuities – Power & Protection.

Gorilla Compliance, LLC is the consulting firm of Danette L. Kennedy, J.D. Ms. Kennedy formed Gorilla Compliance, LLC, an Iowa company, to continue her positive impact in the insurance industry.

Ms. Kennedy’s professional experience includes advising corporate officers regarding general business matters, marketing to women, and compliance and liability issues related to the insurance industry. Skilled in business relationship development with third-party company executives she has an excellent background in team management, problem solving, analytical reasoning, contract negotiation and dispute resolution. She is experienced in developing, implementing, and branding a nationwide woman’s program to train and support women insurance professionals. Ms. Kennedy is licensed to practice law in Iowa and has successfully argued on behalf of her clients before the Iowa Supreme Court and the Iowa Court of Appeals.
